Before There Was A Problem God Had The Solution Day 5

Day 5: The Solution Was Ready Before the Problem Existed

Reading: Revelation 13:8 — The Lamb was slain before the foundation of the world, meaning God's redemptive solution was in place before humanity's greatest problem — sin and separation — ever occurred.

Devotional:

This is perhaps the most staggering truth in all of Scripture. Before the first human being ever drew breath, before the first act of rebellion in the garden, before the first tear was ever shed, God had already provided the solution. The cross was not a reaction. It was a plan. God does not scramble when your world falls apart. He does not revise His purposes when your circumstances shift. He has already experienced the outcome of what He has promised you. When He says His thoughts toward you are good, He speaks from the position of one who has already seen the end of your story and found it full of hope. You are not waiting for God to figure out your future. You are walking toward what He has already prepared.

Reflection Questions:

How does knowing that God's solution precedes your problem change the way you approach prayer and trust?

In what specific area of your life do you most need to receive the truth that God has already gone ahead of you?

Practical Application: Spend ten minutes today in silence. Bring your greatest current fear or uncertainty before God. Then, rather than asking Him to fix it, thank Him that He has already accounted for it. Practice receiving what He has already done rather than striving to earn what you feel you still need.

This reading plan is intended for personal devotion, small group study, or family reflection. Return to these themes as often as needed, especially in seasons of difficulty, uncertainty, or waiting.
