Our Statement Of Faith

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the infallible guide for our conduct and faith in God. 2 Timothy 3:15-16

We believe in one God eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God is Omnipresent, Omniscient and Omnipotent. Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, Mark 12:29

We believe Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, was born of a virgin and lived a blameless and sinless life. That He died for our sins and the sins of the whole world, was buried and on the third day resurrected by the glory of the Father. He ascended into Heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God and intercedes for the saints until His return. Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 11:27, Romans 6:4 & 8:34, Acts 1:10-11

We believe that salvation is a free gift of God and is received by grace through faith, not of works. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all unrighteousness. Ephesians 2:8-9, 1 John 1:7

We believe that after repentance and confession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, a believer should be baptized by immersion in water. Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:3-6 ,
1 Peter 3:21

Holy Spirit BAPTISM

We believe that all believers are indwelt by the Holy Spirit and should desire and expect to receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon them. This is distinct and subsequent to the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and is made manifest by the speaking in tongues, spiritual gifts, and the power for an overcoming life of service to God. John 20:22, Acts 1:4 & 8, 1 Corinthians 12: 1, Mark 16:17, Acts 10:44-46

We believe the Lord's Supper is to be celebrated by the taking of the bread and the cup, thereby, commemorating the Lord's death until He returns. 1 Corinthians 11:23-26, Matthew 26:26-29, Luke 22:19-20, John 6:51-57

We believe that believers should gather together to have times of Worship and Fellowship on a steadfast basis, so as to grow and mature into the completed man. Psalm 122:1, Acts 2:42

We believe in the bodily ascension of Jesus to Heaven, His exaltation, personal, literal and bodily coming again the second time for the Church. John 14:2-3, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

We believe there will be a bodily resurrection of the dead. The believer in the Lord Jesus Christ shall be raised to everlasting life with the Lord and the unbeliever to everlasting separation from God with eternal torment. Revelation 20: 11-15, 2 Thessalonians 1:9

this says it all

We believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
