Day 2: The Prayer of Provision

Reading: 1 Chronicles 4:9-10Genesis 12:1-3

Devotional: Jabez's simple prayer, "Bless me indeed," reveals a profound truth: God delights in blessing His children. Despite a name meaning "sorrow," Jabez became honorable by seeking God's provision and favor. Your past doesn't define your future when you're anchored in God's promises. He wants to provide for you abundantly—not so you can hoard blessings, but so you can overflow into others' lives. Today, boldly ask God to bless you. This isn't greed; it's faith. Remember, you're a child of the King, and He takes pleasure in meeting your needs. When God blesses you, He's positioning you to be a blessing. What areas of your life need God's provision today? Bring them honestly before Him.
