You're Good Enough To Pray Day 5

Day 5: Your Life Can Be the Answer to Someone's Prayer

Reading: Acts 12:5

Devotional: The early church made constant, earnest prayer for Peter while he sat in prison awaiting what appeared to be certain death. They did not pray once and move on. They prayed persistently, corporately, and with intention. Their prayers became the turning point in Peter's story. It is worth considering that someone, somewhere, has been praying that very same kind of prayer for you — that you would know God's love, receive His forgiveness, and step into new life. You may be the living answer to a prayer that has been lifted up for years. A life surrendered to Christ is not just a personal decision. It is the fulfillment of someone's deepest hope for you.

Reflection: Who in your life has been praying for you? Who in your life are you praying for with that same kind of persistent, constant faith?

Application: Reach out to one person today who you know has been praying for you and thank them. Then identify one person you will commit to pray for consistently this week, by name, with specific and bold requests on their behalf.
