Living Under An Open Heaven Day 2
Day 2: Beloved Before Performance
Reading: Romans 8:14-17
Devotional: God declared Jesus as His beloved Son before Jesus performed a single miracle, healed anyone, or preached a sermon. This reveals a profound truth: God's love for you isn't based on your performance but on your identity as His child. You don't need to earn God's approval through spiritual exhaustion or constant striving. Stop wearing nametags that say "not good enough" or "unworthy." God has already named you: beloved, worthy, capable, enough. When you internalize this truth, you move from performance anxiety to supernatural rest. You pray with expectation rather than desperation. You serve from overflow rather than obligation. Today, reject the lie that you must do more to be loved more. Rest in the truth that nothing you do can make God love you more, and nothing you've done can make Him love you less.
