This letter will serve as a special invitation to join me in a dinner and a time of recognition and encouragement for everyone who serves in a ministry at Living Water Church. The dinner will be at the Church on Saturday, November 23rd at 6:00pm and our guest speaker for the evening will be Pastor Sam Smucker. After Pastoring The Worship Center in Lancaster, PA for forty years Pastor Sam and his wife Sherlyn retired from Pastoral ministry and have dedicated their lives to mentoring ministers and strengthening churches across the globe. Everyone that serves in any capacity in our Church is a vital part of us fulfilling our assignment from our Lord for the purposes of His Kingdom. I want to take a moment to say thank you for your service to Living Water Church. Jesus was and is the ultimate example of servant hood and I quote Him here: “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” Albert Einstein once said, “Only a life lived in the service to others is worth living. If service is beneath you, then leadership is beyond you.” Serving is not only an honor it’s also a privilege given to us by the premier servant, Jesus Christ. I am asking you to make every effort to have dinner with me on Saturday, November 23rd and then be encouraged and strengthened by the words of our dear friend, Pastor Sam Smucker, regarding our service to God.
