Finding Strength When You're Running on Empty - Day 2
Day 2: The Source of Supernatural Strength
Reading: Psalm 46:1-7
Devotional: God isn't just a helper when things go wrong—He is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Notice it doesn't say "an occasional help" or "a distant help." He is ever-present, constantly available, never too busy or too tired to assist you. The storms in your life aren't obstacles to God's presence; they're opportunities to experience Him as your fortress, your rock, your shelter. When chaos surrounds you, His peace remains. When circumstances overwhelm, His strength sustains. You don't need to create safety through your bank account, your plans, or your control. True security comes only from allowing God to be the factor in every situation. His strength fills the gap where yours falls short.
Reflection: What situation are you facing today that requires God's supernatural strength rather than your own effort?
