5-Day Devotional: There Is More – Living in the Power of the Holy Spirit
Day 1: The Holy Spirit Is God

Devotional: From the very beginning, the Holy Spirit has been present and active. Before creation took form, the Spirit of God hovered over the waters, bringing order from chaos. This same Spirit dwells within you today. The Holy Spirit isn't simply a force or influence—He is fully God, equal with the Father and the Son. When you invite the Holy Spirit into your daily life, you're welcoming the very presence of God to guide, comfort, and empower you. The Spirit who created the universe desires to create newness in your life. Take time today to acknowledge the Holy Spirit as God and worship Him. Ask Him to reveal areas where He wants to bring divine order to your chaos.
Day 2: The Promise Is for You

You're not fighting for victory; you're fighting from victory. The Holy Spirit gives you power to overcome fear, addiction, doubt, depression, and every scheme of the enemy. This isn't positive thinking or self-help—it's supernatural empowerment. When you feel weak, remember that God's Spirit within you is your source of strength. You belong to God, and He who is for you makes you more than a conqueror. Today, identify one area where you need victory. Declare that greater is He who is in you than any obstacle you face. Walk in the confidence of the Spirit's power.
Day 4: Your Guide Into All Truth

Devotional: In a world filled with conflicting voices and confusing messages, the Holy Spirit serves as your personal teacher and guide. He doesn't lead you into confusion but into all truth. The Spirit reminds you of Jesus's words, illuminates Scripture, and provides wisdom for daily decisions. You have access to divine counsel 24/7. When you don't know which path to take, the Holy Spirit knows. When you can't discern truth from deception, He reveals reality. This isn't reserved for spiritual giants—it's your inheritance as a believer. Develop the habit of pausing before decisions and asking, "Holy Spirit, what do You want to teach me? How should I respond?" Listen for that still, small voice. The Spirit will guide you faithfully.
Day 5: Building Yourself Up Through Prayer

Devotional: Praying in tongues may seem mysterious, but it's one of the Holy Spirit's most practical gifts. When you pray in your prayer language, you bypass your limited understanding and pray God's perfect will. Your spirit communicates directly with God, speaking mysteries, magnifying Him, and building yourself up spiritually. Paul, who wrote much of the New Testament, thanked God that he spoke in tongues more than anyone. If this great apostle valued this gift so highly, shouldn't we? Make praying in the Spirit a daily discipline. When you don't know how to pray about a situation, let the Spirit intercede through you. When you need spiritual strength, edify yourself by praying in tongues. Step out in faith today—worship God in your own language, then yield to the Spirit and allow that supernatural language to flow. There is more available to you than you've yet experienced.
