Distractions Are Inevitable Day 5
Day 5: God Has the Final Say
Reading: Romans 8:26-39
Devotional: Samson was deeply flawed, repeatedly distracted, and at times a walking contradiction of the calling placed on his life before birth. And yet God worked through him, restored him, and brought his purpose to completion. Romans 8 declares that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. This is not a promise that everything will feel good. It is a promise that nothing is wasted. No failure is final. No distraction is permanent. No prodigal is beyond reach. If you are a parent watching a child wander, or a person staring at the wreckage of your own choices, hear this clearly: if it is not good yet, it is not over yet.
Reflection Question: Where in your life or in the life of someone you love are you tempted to believe that the story has already ended badly?
Practical Application: Write a short prayer of surrender over that situation today. Release the outcome to God by name and date it. Return to it when doubt creeps back in as a reminder that you placed it in His hands.
