VOTE

I believe that not only is it our privilege to vote it is our Christian and civic duty to vote.

With what many are calling the most significant election in our history happening this year on November 3rd I am encouraging you to vote.

I would never presume to tell you WHO to vote for but I will encourage you HOW to vote.

Number one on HOW to vote would be found here...
James 1:5  If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.

I encourage you to vote out of conviction and not out of any fear or pressure from people. The scriptures are our source for wisdom and Godly living, search the scriptures with regard to the questions you may have regarding the elections, the Holy Spirit will help you if you ask.

Always keep in mind that our hope is in Jesus and not a political party or an elected official. When you cast your vote consider the candidate that aligns the most with your convictions for living life. Of course, it would be unlikely to have a candidate that you agree 100% with but if you look to the key belief's that you hold dear you'll be able to vote for the candidate that you can feel best represents those belief's.

Samuel Adams said
Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering his vote that he is
not making a present or a compliment to please an individual – or at least
that he ought not so to do; but that he is executing one of the most solemn
trusts in human society for which he is accountable to God and his country.

I would encourage you to seek Christian resources for voting, there are several to be found on the internet. A simple search for Christian Voting Resources will give you what you're looking for.

My prayer is that all eligible Christians will let their voice be heard on Election Day by voting, believe me, your vote does count.

1Timothy 2:1 The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know. 2 Pray especially for rulers and their governments to rule well so we can be quietly about our business of living simply, in humble contemplation. 3 This is the way our Savior God wants us to live.

Proverbs 29:2   When good people run things, everyone is glad, but when the ruler is bad, everyone groans.
