As I take a moment to reflect on what this day means to me I can't help but think about God's faithfulness and love. Yes, 2020 has been a strange and in many ways an uncertain year. But as I look back I can see a lot of wonderful things things that have happened in spite of the uncertainty. For me, one of those things is that I have a greater appreciation for all of the people in my life. I know that Carolyn and I have grown in our faith and as a couple we've grown closer to each other. I've seen my family adapt to the changing times and I'm very proud of how they've handled things like alternating work schedules, zoom meetings and virtual learning. I've seen the church that I pastor not only survive but thrive this year. One thing that stands out is how we were able to stay connected during the first four months of not being able to physically gather and then the joyous celebration when we were able to meet in person once agin. I saw our church celebrate Jesus this month in our services, special events and a most beautiful candlelight Christmas Eve service. We were able to be very generous in our holiday outreaches, I know that because of that generosity a lot of people were able to have a wonderful Christmas. My heart is overflowing with gratitude toward all of the members of Living Water Church, you really did offer a message of hope to all people throughout this year and I just want to say thank, you're all amazing.
So from Carolyn and I along with Rick and Linda and Joel and Lauren we wish you a Merry Christmas - we love you.
