He Makes My Steps Sure
Psalms 37:23 If you do what the Lord wants, he will make certain each step you take is sure.
Life can certainly be very uncertain at times. The road of our lives can have so many twists and turns, bumps and potholes that it is a challenge for anyone to keep going. But don’t give up because the Lord will give you the strength and direction that you need for your life.
As the scripture says in Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?
God does show us what He wants us to do in life, we find that in the scriptures. Take a look at the scriptures everyday and you'll discover ways to live.
Now, what God wants to see is how we’re doing on the journey. Are we following His lead or are we losing focus? It can be easy to lose focus because of the distractions in life. We've got to keep the main thing the main thing. What God tells us is that if we're doing what He wants, if He likes what He sees, He’ll make every step we take sure.
God not only gives us the path to walk on; He strengthens us and gives us a secure and sure footing as we go. He really does give us everything that we need for this life’s journey.
In another version of the Bible the above verse says that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. You see, He places the order, He delivers the order and He helps us along the way. What a wonderful Lord we have.
Prayer – Father, I thank you that you are always with me and you guide me through life’s journey. Help me to stay the course, to always look to you and to endure.

I really liked that thought about keeping focus. It is always a timely message to keep me on track
